Accredito Early Bird → Until September 30
Choosing an Early Bird pass is something you do before the festival begins, yet in a way it already marks the beginning of the festival itself.
It means something important: it is a gesture of trust and one of the ways in which those who choose to take part can directly contribute to making the festival possible.
Every accreditation helps us take care of the selection and presentation of the films, screen works on film, involve curators, create opportunities to meet and exchange ideas, welcome guests, and give our work the time and resources it needs.
It helps us create a festival that lives up to what we envision, without losing the intimate, independent, and shared dimension that we want to remain at its heart.
In this sense, the festival begins here too: with the decision to take part and support it even before the projector is switched on.
GENERAL EARLY BIRD

This accreditation allows you to experience the festival in its entirety — from cinema screenings to film projections at the Ex Chiesa di San Mattia — and to walk around the streets of Bologna with the festival tote bag! Benefits include:
- access to International Competition screenings, without having to purchase individual tickets
- access to Open Frame Competition screenings, without having to purchase individual admission tickets
- access to the Experimental Stories – Stan Brakhage film retrospective, without having to purchase individual admission tickets
- reduced admission to special events at Cinema Modernissimo and Teatro San Leonardo
- the official tote bag of the 19th edition of Archivio Aperto Festival
- discounts of up to 15% at participating bars and restaurants, if you would like to eat and drink at different places around the city during the festival.

The Upside Down Accreditation allows you to experience the festival in its entirety, from cinema screenings to film projections – and much more – at the Ex Chiesa di San Mattia.
This accreditation gives you facilitated access to the following types of events:
- access to International Competition screenings, without having to purchase individual tickets
- access to Open Frame Competition screenings, without having to purchase individual admission tickets
- access to the Experimental Stories – Stan Brakhage film retrospective, without having to purchase individual admission tickets
- reduced admission to special events at Cinema Modernissimo and Teatro San Leonardo
- discounts of up to 15% at participating bars and restaurants, if you would like to eat and drink at different places around the city during the festival.
Competition screenings will take place at Sala Cervi. Starting October 8 – the date on which the full programme will be published – each accredited attendee will receive a personal code by email. This code can be used to reserve a seat free of charge through the Cineteca di Bologna’s online and on-site ticketing services.
The accreditation also allows you to reserve admission to Open Frame Competition screenings and to the Experimental Stories film retrospective, which will take place at the Ex Chiesa di San Mattia.
The accreditation also includes reduced-price admission to the festival’s closing event at Teatro San Leonardo on October 25 and to the special screening at Cinema Modernissimo on October 22.

Some Useful Information
→ How can I get accredited? You can order your accreditation through Eventbrite. At the moment, only Early Bird Accreditation is available, until and including September 30.
You will then be able to collect your badge from the Archivio Aperto Festival Center or at the festival’s cinema venues during the festival. At Sala Cervi, only accreditation badge collection will be available.
It will also be possible to purchase accreditation in person during the festival without placing an online order, but only at the Festival Center.
If your accreditation includes the tote bag, please collect it from the Festival Center, where festival merchandise will also be available.
