An experimental film that reinterprets the moving images of family archives using the
performative language of reenactment. Through playful reenactments, it undertakes
a choreographic exploration of an archaic practice: the picnic. A banquet consumed
in contact with the ground, revitalized by transcending time. A resolute, sometimes
fussy voice carefully illustrates what appears to be picnic etiquette.

Biography
Agnese Cappellazzo (2001) graduated with a degree in Multimedia Arts from the IUAV in Venice. As an artist and filmmaker, her work explores the fusion of different academic disciplines, utilising the language of moving images through an experimental and documentary approach.
Anna Candiani (2001) graduated from the DAMS department at the University of Padua. She is particularly interested in the post-production phase, which she regards as a crucial stage in the development and completion of an audiovisual work. It is above all in editing that she identifies the core of her research: in the possibility of shaping time, rhythm and narrative through the composition of images.
Statement
Taking the theme of the archive as our starting point, our focus has been on trying to preserve the life experiences of others and bring them together through a universal practice with ancestral undertones
