A cinematic journey through the salt marshes of Guérande, far from the frenzy of contemporary society, to this protected site that lives at its own rhythm throughout the entire year. After winter maintenance of the salt marshes, a series of clay basins are prepared, and then water is allowed to circulate through them using gravity, so that the salt can crystallize with the help of wind and sun. In the end, fine, light fleur de sel crystals float in the water above the coarse salt, which remains at the bottom of the basins.
